Communions - Finish the race, win the prize

I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace. (ACTS 20: 23 - 24)

完成這一場的競賽, 這是保羅的訊息, 保羅的競賽是一生為福音作證, 為基督作證. 當保羅確定了自己已在這場競賽中不辱所付, 他說:

I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day. (2 Tim 4: 7-8)

每人都有各自由神而來的使命, 確立這一個使命, 努力去完成它, 當中等待著的, 也許是prison, 也許是hardships, 也許是其他形形式式的, 或許是好, 或許是不好的遭遇. 但不管是什麼, 不要怕可能出現的種種考驗, 務必要記著保羅的忠告:

I press on toward the goal to win the prize...... (Phil 3:14)

聚焦在目標, 為了得著那在天國的賞賜, 那個賞賜就和你的使命一樣, 人人不同, 保羅的是公義的冠冕, 我和你的, 也許是另外的一種冠冕. 只是你務必要確認, 神預備了給你的冠冕是什麼. 要不然, 在途中, 你是很容易就會迷失的.
